EZ started playing the guitar at the young age of 5. Gospel greats such as The Blind Boys, The Dixie Hummingbirds, and the Staple Singers have influenced him all along the way, as well as blues giants BB King, John Lee Hooker, and rock guitar legend Jimi Hendrix. These influences have helped EZ create his own very special blend of the blues. EZ & The Heat are playing the blues all over North Carolina and they hope to spread this very special music nationwide.
